HabitGraph April update: React rewrite live, missed check-ins & more!

Hey, itβs Gabe π Here's a quick updated on what we launched and what we're working on next β¬οΈ
What we launched π
- The UI React rewrite is like, so the app should feel faster and smoother.
- We added a UI to add missed check-ins. Just click any day on the graph to use it.
- We also added a habit carousel to show multiple check-ins on a day.
- Habit tweets in the Math Academy community on X should get tracked consistently now.
- We added automated habit tweet replies with your streak summary and a screenshot of your habit graph (I love this one! π€©)
Here are two examples of what was mentioned above π
1. UI for missed check-ins & multiple check-ins

2. Automated replies with streak summary & screenshot of habit graph

What we're working on next π¨βπ»
We're building more foundational habit tracking features to make the product feel more complete. The first one is more flexible habit frequency. For example, some habits you may only do a few times a week, like running 3 days a week or lifting weights 5 days a week.
This feature is complex due to different edge cases, managing streaks, changing frequency, etc., so this one will take longer, but we want to get it right!
My progress π
I haven't added any new habits since last time. My current 3 are about all I can manage since they are time consuming, but I'm keeping up so far. I look forward to Math Academy launching its CS course so I can go back to 2 habits that I share public progress on π
- Math Academy: 569-day streak, 100% consistency.
- Build in Public (sharing HabitGraph progress): 57-day streak, 100% consistency.
- Learn Python & CS Fundamentals: 33day streak, 100% consistency.
That's all for now! π
That's all for this update. Got questions, find bugs, or run into issues? Just reply to this email or DM me on X π
