HabitGraph June update: Streak & consistency refactor

Hey, itβs Gabe π Hereβs a quick update on what weβre working on β¬οΈ
What we're launching π
For the last few weeks we've been working hard on a significant refactor of how we track consistency and streaks. This sets us up to add more flexibility, like habit frequency, pausing habits, changing goals and more.
This is a significant update that we're going to start rolling out slowly this week.
An ask: If you see any issues with your habit streak or consistency, please reply to this email or DM me on X and Iβll get it fixed right away!
What we're working on next π¨βπ»
Once we finish the rollout above, we'll get back to building more foundational habit tracking features to make the product feel more complete, like more flexible habit frequency, the ability to pause habits (e.g. if you go on vacation) and more along with several UX/QOL improvements.
My progress π
Since last time I've completed my learn Python and Linux habits, which were a great refresher. I don't think I'll do any more of those for a while since I'm just too busy and it's not a priority. I plan to start tracking my workout habit once we add the habit frequency feature since I'm targeting 3 days a week for the 5X5 program.
I'm still going strong on Math Academy, recently finished MF2 and started MF3 which is...challenging π Nothing like feeling dumb every day to keep you humble π
- Math Academy: 616-day streak, 100% consistency.
- Build in Public (sharing HabitGraph progress): 104-day streak, 100% consistency.
- Learn Python & Linux Courses: Both completed, 100% consistency.
This past weekend we went camping at Normandy Farms, so it was a struggle to keep the streak alive but I managed with a few low XP days. I got a kick of my 6yo son finding a creative solution to using the zip line glider, I shared the video in my tweet here.
That's all for now! π
